Control Voltage Failure
  • Up to MPx16, the name of this diagnostic message was “F8070 +24Volt DC Error.”
  • When this error occurs, the motors within the drive system immediately go torque-free. Possibly existing self-holding motor holding brakes apply.
  • This error cannot be cleared by the error clearing command. To clear the error, the drive must be switched off completely.
Description:
  • Supply cable for control voltages defective
  • Overload of power supply unit for control voltage
  • Power supply unit defective
  • Short circuit in wiring of supply voltage
  • Check and, if necessary, replace supply cable for control voltages and connector
  • Check supply voltage at power supply unit
  • Check and, if necessary, replace power supply unit
  • Check wiring for short circuit
