STO/SBC While Drive Enabled
  • When this error occurs, the drive immediately goes torque-free.
Description:
  • Special mode ‘Safe standstill’ was selected with active control.
  • Drive enable was set in special mode ‘Safe standstill’.
  • Configuration error (P-0-0119): ‘Motor phase short circuit to replace holding brake’ configured as the error reaction to F8 errors for an axis with Safe torque off (STO)
  • In the special mode ‘Safe standstill’, the motor phase short circuit was activated (P-0-0116, bit 15=’0′ and value of bit 14 changed from ‘1’ to ‘0’)
  • The special mode ‘Safe standstill’ was selected with active motor phase short circuit (P-0-0046, bit 29=’1′)
  • Remove drive enable before selection – or – Check control / wiring
  • Go to normal operation before setting drive enable Tip: P-0-0110, bit 7 or S-0-0135, bit 7 (Sercos only) displays whether the axis is ready for setting drive enable. – or – Check control / wiring
  • Adjust configuration of F8 error reaction
  • Do not select motor phase short circuit in special mode ‘Safe standstill’; check wiring, if necessary
  • Before selecting the special mode, terminate the motor phase short circuit or wait for deceleration by the motor phase short circuit to be completed (P-0-0046, bit 29=’0′)
